We focus on civil infrastructure projects across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Our company, ELI, serves a diverse client base including private entities as well as state and local governments with expertise in Energy, Civil Infrastructure, Utilities, Transportation, and Land Development. Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, ELI also operates offices in Virginia, Ohio, North Carolina, and across Tennessee.

The ideal candidate is a proven self-starter who demonstrates increasing judgment and capability within a collaborative, professional setting. Strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and experience incorporating high-definition 3D survey technologies into the survey production workflow are essential for this role. This position offers growth potential for motivated individuals eager to learn the necessary skills and technologies. Core responsibilities associated with this role include:

  • Survey data collection using GNSS, robotic, or conventional methods in accordance with corporate and/or client standards
  • Survey data processing
  • Providing daily reports
  • Utilizing GPS equipment
  • Maintain company equipment as well as the company truck
  • Working with a team on most projects
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs
  • Occasionally working out of town

*Travel will be expected on as needed basis and must be able to work overtime. This position will require the applicant to work in outdoor conditions and must be able to lift and carry survey equipment.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent (Required)
  • The ideal candidate will be working towards a degree in surveying, engineering, construction management, or a related field (Preferred but not required)
  • General knowledge of surveying principles, methods, and field procedures (Preferred but not required)
  • Strong math skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to learn

Schedule:

  • Full time
  • Monday to Friday (Weekends on occasion)
  • Overtime available
